The project, unique on a city scale, was created in the 1970s and remains a landmark of Rybnik to this day. The highly reflective and solar-protected glass used in the 12-story office building creates conditions conducive to mental work. The K1 Business Centre is a perfect example of the harmony of natural and artificial light. The lighting in the offices was replaced by GTV luminaires – now we will find, among others: KING LED panels and MATIS surface-mounted luminaires in the K1.
Light in open space
In the offices on the 8th and 9th floors, you can perfectly see how the artificial light sources interact with the with daylight. We equipped open space offices with KING panels, which evenly illuminate the surface. When arranging the lighting, it was important to eliminate the uncomfortable glare rating (UGR) with the wide beam angle of the panels. For employees who spend several hours looking at computer monitors, artificial light must be not only efficient, but also safe.
Variety of lighting
The KING panels with dimensions of 60×60 cm can be found in conference rooms, offices, and rooms intended for small offices. They have the option of installing an emergency module. MATIS surface-mounted luminaires, with which we also equipped the offices in the K1, mainly fulfil their function in narrow passages and long corridors.
