Delta Plus, which has been operating on the international market for 45 years, built a modern headquarters in Siemianowice Śląskie in 2016 – an 8,500 square metre logistics centre with a 1,000 square metre office.
Light is the basis
We equipped the office part of the building with modern lighting. We installed recessed PRINCE LED panels in offices and conference rooms. The offices in the Delta Plus building are connected to the warehouse on one side, so there is no or limited daylight in this part. Hence, the choice of artificial lighting was fundamental – it was important that the light source harmonised with natural lighting and evenly illuminated the area when there was no natural light.
Smaller spaces
In addition to the PRINCE panels mentioned above, MASTER panels, which have the option of an emergency module, were also installed in the corridors. The arrangement of luminaires on the ceilings depended on the height of the rooms and corridors. Their proper location makes it possible to avoid the uncomfortable phenomenon of glare. Additionally, MATIS panels were used, which proved their worth in spaces without daylight, such as toilets. In the Delta Plus building, the designer chose a variant recessed into the ceiling.
