What kind of cargo baskets to choose for the kitchen?
Cargo baskets can be used in many different ways. They have different widths and heights, so they can be used for arranging any free space in your kitchen. You can choose from:
- lower cargo – you can mount it in a cabinet from 15 to even 60 cm wide. Owing to the fact that they have two slides that are mounted to the bottom of the cabinet, they can really carry a lot. They are perfect for storing not only small spices or
- food products, but also large dishes, porcelain and pots. You can easily pull them out into the middle of the kitchen without fear of anything falling or getting damaged. You can also compose a set of two baskets for larger cabinets, e.g. 80 or 100 cm. All you have to do is to choose two models of the appropriate width and mount them next to each other,
- side cargo – they are mounted to the side of the cabinet. They have a lower load capacity than the lower mounting model. Another limitation is that they can only be used in cabinets from 15 to 30 cm wide. However, side cargo baskets are perfect, e.g. for arranging the empty space under the sink or between the cabinets and the wall. In these places they will be useful for organising cleaning products, kitchen accessories, spices, as well as pans, and lids. You can also use them as a mini bar or pantry and store your favourite drinks or homemade preserves there,
- cargo waste bins – these bins work perfectly under the sink or top drawer. Owing to the fact that they are mounted on undermount slides, the bin can be freely pulled out into the centre of the room and waste can be conveniently sorted into the appropriate containers.
