Focus on development with GTV

I have been working at GTV for almost 7 years. Currently, I hold the position of Senior Trade Marketing Specialist. I often hear the question – what does this mean? Well, I am responsible for direct support of the export sales department, which involves organizing sales promotions, fairs and events, training, and showrooms in various parts of the Eastern world. Together with my sales colleagues, we invent, develop and organize various forms of customer sales support, but also help the customer reach the end customer and increase the recognition of the GTV brand.

Working with the sales department is always demanding, but also gives a lot of satisfaction and development opportunities. Looking back, when I started my adventure with GTV, I can say that I am grateful for the opportunity that GTV once gave me by deciding to employ a person with minimal marketing experience.

My adventure at GTV started in August 2012 in the logistics department. After 5 months of work, I decided to take part in an internal recruitment and applied for the position of sales specialist in Customer Service Office. I went through recruitment process successfully. I started as a junior specialist and after eight years I left the team as a senior key account specialist. In March 2020, I was offered the position of sales representative in Warsaw area, and less than six months later, my commitment was appreciated and I was offered the position of regional sales manager. I have been fulfilling these duties with pleasure to this day.

The biggest advantage of working at GTV is the investment in employees and the use of new technologies in everyday duties. As a market leader, GTV gives me new challenges. That’s what I like!

Since January 2024, I have been working at GTV as a Junior Recruitment Specialist, and I can honestly say that this is a unique place for professional development. One of the greatest advantages is the family atmosphere, which makes every employee feel like part of a bigger whole. My adventure at GTV started in mid-2016 with the position of a warehouseman. After about 1.5 years, I was promoted to the position of internal trainer and I still hold this position.

My job is to implement new warehouse employees according to current standards. I also improve the work in the warehouse by identifying and eliminating ‘waste’ and downtime. I use a lean management approach in my work.

Privately, I am a father of two wonderful sons. In my spare time I am interested in cinema, music and sports.

I started working at GTV in 2007. From the beginning, I was touched by the family atmosphere of the company. In addition to the existing and already operating on the market brand in the furniture industry, we created a new Lighting Department. After a few years, I had the pleasure to manage the already dynamic Customer Service Office of the Lighting Department, then Tools, E-commerce and, for a year, the Furniture Accessories Office. It was a time of great development for me in cooperation with great specialists.

Alongside the implementation of new ERP in 2017, I started to explore the knowledge about processes in our company. We analysed where we can improve a given process and implement it. So the opportunity to rebrand myself as a business analyst came very naturally. Since July 2022, I have been developing myself in the rapidly growing PMO Team.

Throughout this journey, the constant support of my superiors, inspiration and setting ambitious goals have been important. Advice – reach for your dreams, because ‘sky is the limit’.

My professional career at GTV started 11 years ago as an export department assistant and today I am the deputy export director. My work gives me a lot of satisfaction, especially when I build processes and perform tasks in customer service or team management. GTV is an environment where I achieve my professional goals, gain experience, meet and work with high-class professionals, and I will be able to implement many more international projects in the future.

Some people admire ‘You have made a career, from assistant to manager in 11 years, how did you manage to do that?’. My answer is simple: ‘Setting goals, hard work and commitment, and GTV will support your career development’.
