At GTV, we implement top-tier solutions to support our operations. One such solution is SAP IBP, a tool for demand forecasting and supply planning. The initiator of this implementation at GTV was Wojciech Raczkowski (currently Director of Business Development). Over the past years, our company has learned that centralizing processes and leveraging advanced forecasting tools are essential for efficiently managing a business in global markets. We understand that planning is not just about forecasting but also about the ability to quickly respond to changes in demand and supply. While initially introduced to streamline forecasting, the IBP system has proven to be a cornerstone for further development in business process management within our company.
On October 22, 2024, the Planning Breakfast was organized by R&S Group with the participation of SAP Polska, MPM Productivity Management, and KBJ. Dorota Pietrak, Head of the Planning Department, and Anna Moroń, Director of the Purchasing Division, were invited as experts to share their knowledge and experience with those beginning their journey with the tool. They also had the opportunity to learn from the experiences of others in this field and to attend highly engaging presentations prepared by SAP employees specializing in this area. The exchange of information in the format proposed by the hosts provided many valuable insights that the Purchasing Division plans to use in further optimizing processes.
